Browsing the site
The site has no advertising trackers.
CBRS map
- Basemap. When you open the map, your browser loads map tiles from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org, delivered through Cloudflare). Those requests show which area you are viewing. OpenFreeMap says it sets no cookies and does not log IP addresses by default.
- Location check. The coordinates you check are sent to our server to compute the result. They are not stored or logged.
- Terrain height. If “Calculate HAAT” is on, our server sends those coordinates, but not your IP address, to the FCC’s public Contours API. You can turn this off and enter a known HAAT instead.
- Addresses and ZIP codes. ZIP codes are looked up in a U.S. Census file on our server. Street addresses are sent from our server, without your IP address, to the U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder to find their coordinates. We do not store or log the address you enter. The map does not use browser geolocation.
Corrections
- What we keep. If you send a correction or a suggestion, we keep the email address you give, what you wrote, any links, and when you sent it. We use them only to review your message and to reply to you.
- Confirmation links. If your email address is at a company we list, we email you a one-time link to confirm it. We store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of the link, and it expires after a day.
- Who sees it. Only the Private5G.com team reviews corrections. We don’t publish your email address or share it. Logos, photos, or files you email us are shown on the site only if you say we may use them and we accept the correction.
- Deleting it. Email [email protected] to ask us to delete a correction and anything you sent with it.
- Email delivery. Our emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service.
Usage analytics
We measure how the site is used so we can improve it:
- Google Analytics records page views and basic interactions. Advertising features and Google signals are turned off. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default. Search terms are removed from page addresses before they are recorded.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics records page views and page performance without cookies.
Precise locations
The map evaluates a location without saving its coordinates. Exact addresses and precise coordinate requests are not recorded.
Project briefs
- Building a brief. The project brief builder asks about workloads and project scope, not your name, email address, or exact location. Your answers and the brief are not saved.
- Sending it for a quote. If you choose to send your brief, we email it, with the contact details and notes you type, to the company you pick: Waveform or RSRF. They use it to reply to you about your project. Private5G.com is operated by the team behind Waveform and RSRF.
- What we keep. We don’t keep a copy of the brief or your contact details in our database, and we don’t email you a copy. To limit repeat sends, we keep a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and IP address with the time you sent it.
- Email delivery. The email goes through Resend, our email delivery service, to the company you picked.
