Overview

AXIS TP3604-E is an outdoor back box with a built-in cellular modem that connects one AXIS P32 dome or AXIS P14 bullet camera to an existing private 4G or 5G network, so the site needs power at the mounting point but no network cable run.[1][2] Axis says it is designed solely for private cellular networks (PCNs) and is sold only in specific countries.[1] The US variant runs on LTE Band 48 and 5G NR n48 in standalone mode only and lists FCC Part 96, the CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) rules, among its approvals.[2][3] Axis pitches it as a way to add cameras without trenching, wherever private cellular coverage and AC or Power over Ethernet (PoE) power are available, such as on a light pole.[1]
