Overview

The Inseego Wavemaker FW3000 is an outdoor 5G CPE (customer premises equipment) for fixed wireless access: an IP67-rated unit with high-gain directional antennas that mounts on an exterior wall or roof and feeds an indoor router over a single 2.5 Gbps Power-over-Ethernet cable.[1][2] It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 modem with 5G sub-6 GHz and LTE Category 20.[1] Inseego says the FW3000 series supports CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) for private 5G, and its GCF certification lists LTE Band 48 and n48, although Inseego's current datasheet band list omits both.[3][4][2]
