Overview

On February 11, 2020, Mavenir and German telecom systems integrator MUGLER announced a go-to-market partnership for Mavenir's 4G/5G private network software in Germany.[1] As part of it, MUGLER said it had secured a private network license from BNetzA, the German frequency regulator, and would deploy an end-to-end Mavenir 5G system on its own campus at Oberlungwitz, Saxony, both for its own use and as a showcase and test bed for customers.[1][2] We found no public report confirming that the Mavenir-based campus network was completed. MUGLER's website, undated, offers customers a test and showcase platform in an already installed network at Oberlungwitz, without naming the equipment vendor.[3]
