Mavenir, based in Richardson, Texas and controlled by private equity firm Siris, sells cloud-native mobile network software and says it has more than 300 operator customers in 120 countries.[1][2][3] For private networks it markets an end-to-end 4G/5G system under its MAVedge line, with Open vRAN radio software and a converged packet core that can run on premises as a network-in-a-box, as a cloud service or as a hybrid.[4] After a 2025 debt recapitalization, Mavenir said it would stop building its own Open RAN radio units and focus on software, while supporting existing hardware customers.[5][2]
