Overview

Mavenir's Small Footprint 5GC is a compact version of its cloud-native 5G packet core, part of the MAVcore Converged Packet Core portfolio.[1] Mavenir describes it as a lean, low-cost core for network operators, private networks and cable operators serving enterprise applications, and says its small-footprint solutions can run on premises or in public or private clouds.[1] A companion Small Footprint EPC covers 4G for eMBB, IoT and fixed wireless access.[1] Mavenir's portfolio page does not give capacity or hardware sizing for the product.[1]
