Overview

The RG440 is RugGear's compact 5G radio for mission-critical push-to-talk (PTT), video and data (MCX): a handheld with a 2.4-inch touchscreen, a dedicated PTT button, a talkgroup knob and an SOS key rather than a full smartphone.[1][2] RugGear says it works on private 4G/5G networks, and its datasheet lists CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) Band 48 and n48 support along with the public-safety Band 68.[1][2] The front camera can be worn on the chest as a body camera, and MCX, push-to-video and SOS functions run through third-party apps.[1]
