Overview

Sercomm UDM-DP is a CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) domain proxy, software that talks to a Spectrum Access System (SAS) on behalf of a group of radios; Sercomm says it lets multiple radios use the network's spectrum concurrently.[1] It is part of Sercomm's UDM (Unified Device Management) family, which Sercomm describes as a cloud-based platform for managing devices from multiple vendors.[1][2] Sercomm positions the domain proxy for larger networks and says it can work with an EMS/NMS or run on its own.[1] It is a spectrum-coordination component, not a SAS itself: under FCC rules each CBRS device must still register with and be authorized by a SAS before transmitting (see our guide to CBRS SAS administrators).[3]
