BearCom, founded in 1981 and headquartered in Garland, Texas, is a North American integrator of two-way radio, security and data systems, and says it is the largest Motorola Solutions channel partner in North America.[1] For private networks it designs, deploys and supports private LTE networks and rents them for live events and industrial projects, with monitoring during events.[2][3] Its published CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) work includes a private LTE network built for Fort Worth Independent School District in Texas to give students home internet.[4] Private equity firm Siris completed its acquisition of BearCom in January 2024.[5]
BearCom designs, deploys and monitors private LTE networks, positioned for outdoor live events (point-of-sale, credential scanning, security cameras and production crews) and for longer-term use in healthcare, hospitality and manufacturing.[2]
