Airspan Networks is a U.S. wireless equipment maker, headquartered in Plano, Texas, whose portfolio spans in-building small cells and distributed antenna systems, Open RAN radios, air-to-ground systems and, since September 2026, fixed wireless products bought from Cambium Networks.[1][2] For private networks it sells small cells such as the indoor AirVelocity 1901 and outdoor AirSpeed 2900, which it says support CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service).[3][4] Airspan went through a prepackaged Chapter 11 restructuring in 2024, emerged in October 2024 as a private company with Fortress Investment Group as plan sponsor and equity investor, and bought Corning's wireless business in 2025.[5][6][7][8]
