Overview

Teltech Group, a Native American and woman-owned logistics and technology services company, deployed Betacom's managed private 4G/5G service to automate its 200,000-square-foot warehouse in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Betacom announced on August 23, 2022.[1] Light Reading reported that the network spans 11 transmission sites using Airspan radios in the 3.5 GHz CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) band, with a Druid Software core running inside the warehouse.[2] RCR Wireless reported that the network would start on LTE and later be upgraded and expanded to 5G.[3] Betacom said the site would also serve as a showcase for warehouse robots, drones, and automated forklifts.[1]
