Overview

Raemis is Druid Software's cellular core platform, a 3GPP-compliant 4G/5G core with a REST API and enterprise features that Druid uses as the basis of its private network products.[1] Druid says Raemis works with 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G and Wi-Fi radios from any vendor, and that the same software supports LTE, 5G non-standalone (NSA) and 5G standalone (SA), even at the same time.[2] It runs on virtual machines or in containers and can scale from a single small-cell site with a handful of users in one VM to distributed multi-site deployments managed centrally.[2][1]

Specifications

Architecture

Core type
3GPP-compliant 4G (EPC) and 5G core in one product; Druid says 5G features ship in the same software as 4G with no added software or hardware, and 5G support is a licensed feature.[1]
5G modes
5G NSA and 5G SA, with a migration path from LTE to NSA to SA.[2][1]
Radio compatibility
Radio-agnostic: Druid says it uses 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G and Wi-Fi radios from any vendor.[2]
Distributed architecture
Cloud-native distributed deployments with central management of multiple edge sites and MEC (multi-access edge computing) support.[1]

Deployment options

Platforms
Virtual machines or containers, with built-in orchestration.[2]
Smallest footprint
Druid says Raemis can scale down to one eNodeB and a handful of users in a single VM with a small compute and memory footprint.[1]
Resilience
Resilience and redundancy options are listed as features; specific topologies are not detailed in the product sheet.[1]

Capacity (as stated by Druid)

Radio sites
Configured at commissioning for 1 to 1,000 eNodeB devices.[1]
Subscribers
Configured at commissioning for 1 to 50,000 provisioned users.[1]

Features and interfaces

API
RESTful API; Druid says every feature in the Raemis GUI is also available through the API, and the GUI can be white-labelled or extended.[1]
Network slicing and QoS
4G/5G network slicing; multiple packet data networks can be mapped to enterprise VLANs for traffic separation, load balancing and QoS.[2][1]
5G features listed
URLLC, Location Management Function, 5G-LAN (non-IP) communication between devices, Xn handover and VoNR calls.[1]
5G LAN validation
In February 2026 Druid and Microamp said they validated 5G LAN (Layer 2 Ethernet over 5G) using Microamp's mmWave gNodeB with the Raemis 5G core.[3]
Enterprise integration
PBX integration, DHCP address assignment for devices, Ethernet integration and emergency call support are listed features.[1]
Operator interworking
Integrates with mobile network operators over standard interfaces.[2]

Licensing

Licensing model
Not publicly stated, beyond 5G support being a licensed feature.[1]
Trial offer
Druid's product sheet describes a 5G SA launch pad offer with a network-in-a-box preinstalled with the Raemis 5G core and a gNodeB, plus 20 subscribers with 20 SIM cards.[1]
