Ataya (Atayalan, Inc.) is a private 5G company headquartered in Santa Clara, California, with engineering centers in the U.S. and Taiwan.[1][2] It sells two product lines: Ataya Harmony, private 5G core software that also applies network and security policy to Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet devices, and Ataya Chorus, a cloud-managed private 5G system whose 5G control plane runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) while each access point handles user traffic on site.[3][4] In February 2026 Ataya described Ataya Edge, a site-level layer for edge AI workloads, zero-trust security and local traffic handling that works under either Harmony or Chorus.[4] Its published U.S. case studies cover a school campus and a golf course in California, both using Chorus.[5][6]
Ataya Harmony is private 5G core software that Ataya has extended to manage and secure Wi-Fi and wired devices from the same console, with zero-trust network access, microsegmentation and northbound application programming interfaces (APIs); Ataya positions it as the on-premises control-plane option.[3][4]
Ataya Chorus combines 5G radio access, core, policy management, device onboarding, SIM cards and monitoring; its control plane runs on AWS and its indoor and outdoor access points contain the UPF (user plane function).[3][8]
A site-edge layer that runs a gateway for 5G, Wi-Fi and Ethernet traffic, AI workload orchestration and zero-trust security on local computers under either Harmony or Chorus; Ataya planned to demonstrate it on Advantech MIC-series edge computers at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026.[4][13]
Ataya's November 2025 case study describes a Chorus pilot by integrator TECLaunch in which one Moso Networks outdoor radio covered a campus of more than 200 acres, with a two-radio production network planned for November 2025.[5]
Ataya's February 2026 case study says solution provider Private Wave Wireless deployed Chorus with two CBRS radios, Moso Networks Canopy radio hardware and Starlink plus fiber backhaul to cover a property of more than 150 acres, connecting golf-cart routers and point-of-sale systems.[6]
RCR Wireless News reported in February 2024 that Ataya listed Harmony deployments at an ADLINK smart factory and at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center.[14]
Ataya said in February 2025 that Harmony, integrated with Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls, would be deployed at industrial manufacturer PATTA.[12]
Ataya said it would demonstrate Ataya Edge running on Advantech edge computers at Mobile World Congress 2026.[13]
Ataya and Pegatron announced Pegatron-manufactured indoor and outdoor Chorus access points that add the n79 band, with trials under way with a Tier 1 mobile operator in Japan.[18][2]
RCR Wireless News reported that Ataya and Moso Networks disputed Celona's claim that its AerFlex was the first cloud-controlled, access-point-only private 5G platform, saying Chorus had been commercially available since May 2025.[17]
Ataya announced Chorus availability in the U.S., Europe, Japan and other Asian markets, a multi-tenant dashboard for service providers, and support for open RAN (O-RAN) radios using a cloud-managed core with a UPF at each site.[16]
Fortress Solutions, Ataya and Moso Networks announced a U.S. package combining Chorus, Moso's Canopy 5GID2 indoor radio and Fortress services.[10]
RCR Wireless News reported reseller and integrator deals for Harmony in Europe, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia, including ADLINK, Wave-in Communications, Quanta Computer, Accuver and Opticoms.[14]
Ataya launched Chorus, a standalone 5G access point system aimed at small and medium private 5G deployments.[15]
Ataya announced the availability of Harmony, naming Quanta Computer and ADLINK as customers.[11]
