Verizon Communications is a New York-based mobile and broadband operator whose enterprise unit, Verizon Business, sells on-premises private cellular networks that Verizon designs and can manage for the customer.[1][2] Its On Site 5G & Edge portfolio includes a dedicated Private 5G Network, a multi-carrier Neutral Host Network, temporary networks for events and trials, 5G Edge computing and a monitoring dashboard; customers can run the network themselves or have Verizon operate it.[2] Verizon offers either its own licensed, dedicated spectrum or unlicensed spectrum such as CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service), and RCR Wireless reported in May 2024 that it had approved Ericsson, Nokia and Celona equipment for CBRS deployments.[3][4] Published U.S. projects include two terminals at The Port of Virginia, Cleveland Clinic's Mentor Hospital in Ohio and an aircraft hangar at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii.[5][6][7]
