Overview

Comcast Business, the business services brand of Philadelphia-based Comcast Corporation, sells a managed private wireless platform that combines a dedicated private network on CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) spectrum with neutral host cellular coverage for users of participating mobile carriers.[1][2] Comcast holds CBRS Priority Access Licenses (PALs) won in the FCC's 2020 auction and uses them alongside General Authorized Access (GAA) spectrum.[3][4] It entered private wireless in January 2022 through a non-exclusive partnership with Nokia and a showcase network at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, and later built a campus network at the University of Virginia with Druid Software and Airspan Networks.[5][6][7] In August 2026 it extended the platform to commercial offices with a deployment at Smartlink's Annapolis, Maryland headquarters.[1]
