Overview

The Semtech AirLink RX55 is a compact, rugged LTE-Advanced (Category 7) router for industrial IoT (Internet of Things), SCADA and fleet applications on public and private networks, in a sealed IP64-rated aluminum housing.[1][2] Semtech emphasizes its low idle power for solar- or battery-powered sites and offers base, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Plus models, the last adding container support for edge applications.[1][2] The North American model lists LTE Band 48, and Semtech names CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) among its carrier certifications.[2]
